Camp Update..

Just want to start with saying I've been so so poorly over the last couple of weeks. I have had really bad tonsillitis, which has mad me want to crawl in my bed and die! But anyway I'm back with another post.

It has been a really great week, as I said in my first post, that I hoped to do some travelling well, I have finally been placed in a quaint camp in North Carolina, Blue Star Camp!

Just a short post today about the wonders of the Tangle Teaser! 

Now I know this is a product that has been out for quite a number of years now- first seen on Dragon's Den on 2007-  however people still haven't heard of it's brilliance! 

Duke of Edinburgh..

On Wednesday night, I am so proud to say, I finally completed my Duke of Edinburgh Silver award and went to Fernwood School, in Wollaton, to pick up the long awaited badge and certificate.

Now, I know many of you are probably thinking that only 'squares' actually do and complete this award, but I cannot tell you how much I have loved the experience.

I started this award back in October 2012 when I was at Bilborough College, a close friend and I thought that it would challenge us and look great on our CV's and UCAS applications.

A Date Night with the Lads..

Picture this, Tuesday night, ready to snuggle in to bed with Netflix and a brew, and then your boyfriend gets a phone call to see if he wants to go for a drink with the lads. It's the last thing you want to do, but you still tear yourself away from the cries of your bed; yes this was my Tuesday night!

Saying this, I am so glad I did go out because I got to find some secret beauties that I'd never heard of before.

Uni Decisions..

Last week I had to make the horrible decision of whether I was going to take my deferred place at Manchester Met for the Contemporary Theatre and Performance course. Now for years all I had ever wanted to do was act or at least to be involved with the arts in some way.
I was completing my Drama and Theatre Studies A-level, and decided that I was going to audition for several uni's and I would definitely get in (lol). However, at an average of £50 for an audition, and then several other expenses on top of that, it was never going to be as easy as I'd hoped.

Hey there, this is my first blog post (so go easy!), just going to introduce myself and tell you a bit about me:

For a while now, I have wanted to try my hand at blogging; This year I have had to make some pretty intense and difficult decisions, which have not only changed my present but my future as well. A lot of the time I tried to Google a solution to these decisions, which got me thinking that sometimes having a strangers opinion can help.


Hopefully, I will be travelling and working on the summer camps in the USA this year, if you want to find out what Il be doing, and how I'm getting on please give us a read and even ask a question or two. I would love to hear some hints and tips for where to go!


I'm rather opinionated with topics that really get my blood boiling and have a bit of an obsession with shopping; so maybe a few hauls thrown into this blogging mix as well.
